(AM: 7:30 – 14:30)
(PM:12:00 – 19:00)
After 1.5 hours of driving, we'll arrive at the Cu Chi - Ben Duoc Tunnels. This gigantic underground tunnel system showcases Vietnamese people's intelligence, cleverness, and braveness during the Vietnam War. It's about 200 km long and was designed with command centers, storage facilities, warehouses, offices, clinics, conference rooms, hospitals, and even kitchens. The site has been well-maintained for local and foreign travelers to explore.
The Cu Chi Tunnel played an important role in Vietnam's history. It served as a strategic location for many military campaigns and an operation base for the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War.
Our knowledgeable tour guide will take you into some parts of the tunnel and explain the techniques that once contributed to the nation's victory. Crawling through one of the tunnels will be a second-to-none experience.
During our trip, we will pass by a place displaying lacquer paintings made by disabled people. Their craftsmanship is absolutely admirable.
For those who would like to experience exhilarating wartime, gun renting service is available at the National Defense Sports Shooting Range. You can choose a carbine rifle, AK-47 or M-16. Costs are at your own expense.
