Our next activity is walking in Hoi An Old Town. We'll first visit the Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, a masterpiece of architecture in the city. The property was built in 1690 and served as a socializing place for Fujian, a Chinese ethnic group. Its architecture and design are influenced by Chinese tradition, culture, and religion. Its big territory (around 2000 square meters) features an elegant gate, a vibrant courtyard, and a stunning fountain, making it an ideal place for photo lovers.
The next destination is Phung Hung Ancient House or Tan Ky Ancient House. It's an attractive landmark due to its 200-year history and cultural fusion. As you know, Hoi An was a vibrant trading port, and many merchants came and lived here for a long period. A Vietnamese merchant built this house in 1780 and named it with the meaning of prosperity. In the past, it was used as a shop selling salt, ceramic, silk, cinnamon, and pepper. Nowadays, the merchant's eighth-generation descendant maintains this historic house almost unchanged.
Then, we'll stop at the Japanese Bridge, a beautiful photoshoot place that has been around for over 4 centuries. The bridge is 18 meters long and crosses the Thu Bon River. It's an architectural marvel that combines Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese cultures. The foundation is composed of stone, and the top and bridge are made of red lacquered wood. While you admire its beauty, our tour guide will explain interesting facts about the architecture and religious beliefs regarding this bridge.

Hoi An's charm seems never to end, as there are many things to explore. After taking nice photos of the Japanese Bridge, we'll move to Hoi An's famous handicraft shops and artwork galleries. You can witness how skilled local artisans create unique items and purchase some as souvenirs. As you wander around the streets and small laneways, you'll feel a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that is hard to find in busy cities.
At night, all the lantern-decorated streets are lit, creating a fancy picture. One unmissable activity is taking a boat ride and dropping flower lanterns. Light up a small flower lantern, let it float on the water, and immerse yourself in this unforgettable special moment.

Hoi An's street food is well-known for its diversity and tastiness. There are various options, such as Banh My (Vietnamese Bread), Banana Fried Pancake, Cao Lau, and Banh Beo. Costs are at your own expense.
