The next day, we'll move from Sapa to Lao Chai and Ta Van village to discover the life of different minorities living in the same region. Despite development, they still keep their tradition, language, and lifestyle.
Lao Chai village is home to the Black Hmong minority, one of Sapa's biggest minority groups. You can recognize them by the iconic indigo blue clothing. The village features unspoiled scenery, including the wide golden green rice fields and densely-clustered wooden houses. This authentic landscape will effortlessly captivate your heart.
Ta Van village is where almost 40.000 people of the Giay minority settle. Their typical clothes colors are blue, green, and purple. Coming to the Ta Van, you'll see their distinctive houses made of bamboo or wood and feature a clay floor.
