Itinerary

Day 01: Hanoi Arrival Half-day Hanoi City Group Tour (-/L/-)

Your adventure begins the moment you step foot in Hanoi, Vietnam's bustling and vibrant capital. At 12:15 p.m., our guide and bus will greet you at your hotel and whisk you away to a local restaurant. Then, let's enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch, with vegetarian options available for those seeking a lighter meal.

At 01:30 p.m., your journey into Hanoi's rich cultural heritage begins with a visit to Tran Quoc Pagoda, the city's oldest pagoda. Nestled on Golden Fish Island in West Lake, this serene temple dates back to the 6th century and offers a peaceful escape from the city's bustling streets. It's a perfect place to reflect and take in the calming atmosphere as you begin your exploration of Hanoi.

Next, you'll visit the iconic Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, founded in 1070. Walking through its beautiful courtyards and pavilions, you'll get a glimpse into Vietnam's long-standing reverence for education and Confucian teachings. This site is not only a symbol of learning but also one of the most picturesque spots in the city, perfect for photos.

At 03:30 p.m., your tour continues to the thought-provoking Hoa Lo Prison, built by the French in the late 19th century. Known as "Maison Centrale" during colonial times, this prison offers a compelling look into Vietnam's struggle for independence. The museum now serves as a sobering reminder of the resilience of the Vietnamese people during their fight against colonial rule. 

Finally, you'll return to your hotel, having experienced a full afternoon of cultural and historical discovery in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi Halong Overnight Cruise with Shuttle bus (B/L/D)

The excitement continues on day two as you set off between 07:45 a.m. and 08:30 a.m. for a scenic drive to Halong Bay, one of the world's most iconic natural wonders. 

Upon arrival at Tuan Chau International Cruise Port around 11:30 a.m., you'll be warmly welcomed by the cruise staff. After a brief check-in, you'll board the luxurious Le Journey Cruise at 12:30 p.m., where a refreshing drink and cold towel await. 

As the cruise sets sail, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch while taking in the breathtaking views of Halong Bay's towering limestone islands, which rise dramatically from emerald-green waters.

Your first adventure begins with a visit to the Surprising Cave, one of Halong Bay's most stunning natural formations. As you step inside, you'll be amazed by the vibrant lighting that highlights the cave's intricate stalactites and stalagmites, making this geological wonder truly live up to its name

Following the cave, you'll head to Titop Island, where you can swim in the crystal-clear waters or hike to the island's peak for a panoramic view of the bay - an unforgettable sight.

As the day transitions to evening, you'll return to the cruise at 05:30 p.m. for a sunset party on the sundeck. Sip cocktails and watch the sky turn golden while you take in the serene beauty of the bay. 

The party also includes a fun cooking class, where you'll learn to make Vietnamese spring rolls - a delightful way to immerse yourself in the local culture. Enjoy happy hour from 05:30 p.m. to 06:30 p.m., with a special "buy 2, get 1 free" offer on drinks.

At 07:00 p.m., a delicious dinner will be served on the sundeck (weather permitting), allowing you to dine under the stars as the tranquil waters of Halong Bay set the perfect mood. After dinner, unwind by the Sky Bar, try your hand at squid fishing, or simply relax on the deck while taking in the breathtaking nighttime views of the bay.

Day 3: Halong Overnight Cruise Hanoi with Shuttle bus (B/Brunch/-)

On your final day in Halong Bay, wake up to the calm of the bay and enjoy breakfast as the boat sets off for the Natural Preservation Area

At 07:45 a.m., embark on a kayaking adventure around Pearl Village or Luon Cave, where you'll paddle through the serene waters, exploring hidden corners of the bay. You might even spot playful monkeys along the cliffs, adding a touch of excitement to the peaceful surroundings.

After this morning's adventure, you'll return to the boat at 09:30 a.m. to check out of your cabin. While the crew handles your luggage, take a moment to relax on the sundeck or browse through some of the local products available for purchase. 

Then, enjoy an early lunch in the dining room, offering one last chance to soak in the beautiful scenery as you sail back toward Tuan Chau Marina.

By 11:00 a.m., you'll arrive at the marina, marking the end of your unforgettable journey through Halong Bay. As you disembark and begin your transfer back to Hanoi, you'll carry with you the memories of breathtaking landscapes and serene moments of this gorgeous bay. 

Day 04: Hanoi Express Coach to Sapa Cat Cat Village Walking Tour (B/-/D)

Your journey continues with a scenic drive to Sapa, a charming mountainous district in the northwest of Vietnam. Nestled in Lao Cai province, Sapa boasts rolling hills, mist-covered valleys, and lush forests that create a spectacular natural landscape. The journey through these serene surroundings will set the tone for your adventure in this tranquil region.

Upon arrival, you'll meet your local guide at the hotel, who will take you on a trek to Cat Cat Village. This village is home to the Black H'mong people, known for their colorful traditional attire and intricate handwoven textiles. As you make your way down to the town, located in a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak, you'll witness daily life in this remote part of Vietnam

The trek goes on to a picturesque waterfall, where the French once built a hydraulic power station. It's the perfect spot for photos, with the bridge and waterfall creating a stunning backdrop. 
After taking in the views, you'll begin the uphill journey back to Sapa in the afternoon, enjoying the fresh mountain air and the peaceful atmosphere that makes this region so special.

Day 05: Fansipan Half-day Tour Express Coach to Hanoi (B/-/-)

Start your day with an exhilarating trip to Fansipan Mountain, known as the "Roof of Indochina," for being the tallest peak in the region at 3,143 meters.

Your local guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the cable car station, where you'll board the world's longest and highest cable car. The ride offers breathtaking views of Sapa's stunning landscapes, including terraced rice fields, deep valleys, and subtropical forests.

At the summit, you'll be greeted by sweeping views that extend for miles. Standing at the highest point in Indochina is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and you'll want to capture the moment with plenty of photos.

After soaking in the views and the tranquility of the mountain, you'll take the cable car back down and return to Sapa before boarding an express coach to Hanoi. The memories of Fansipan's majestic views and the serene beauty of Sapa will stay with you as you make your way back to the capital.

*Note: The train ticket to Fansipan Peak is not included in the tour package. If you wish to take the train, there will be an additional surcharge of $4 per person.

Day 06: Hanoi Da Nang (B/-/-)

You'll board a flight from Hanoi to Da Nang, a coastal city that combines modern charm with natural beauty. Known for its golden beaches and vibrant atmosphere, Da Nang offers a perfect day for relaxation.

Day 07: Bana Hill Full-day Tour Group Tour (B/L/-)

Set off on a magical journey to Ba Na Hill, a stunning mountain resort just outside of Da Nang. Between 07:30 a.m. and 08:30 a.m., your guide will pick you up for a scenic drive along the coastal roads, arriving at Ba Na Hill by 09:00 a.m. 

The adventure begins with a ride on the world's longest cable car, offering spectacular views of the surrounding forests and waterfalls, including the breathtaking Mo Stream and Toc Tien Waterfall.

At the summit, you'll visit the famous Golden Bridge, where giant stone hands seem to lift the bridge above the clouds. This architectural marvel offers one of the most stunning views in Vietnam, and walking across it feels like stepping into another world. 

You'll also explore the L'Jardin Zone, a French-style garden filled with old villas, a 100-year-old pomelo tree, and the peaceful Linh Ung Pagoda with its towering 27-meter Buddha statue.

The second cable car ride takes you to Nui Chua Peak, the highest point in Da Nang, where you can enjoy incredible views of the city below. You'll also visit Fantasy Park, Asia's largest indoor amusement center, for a bit of fun and games. 

End the day at Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple, where you'll enjoy a panoramic view of Da Nang City and its bay, often shrouded in a romantic mist. By 04:30 p.m., you'll head back down via cable car, returning to the city center after a day filled with natural beauty and unforgettable sights.

Day 08: Marble Mountain Hoi An Group Tour Sai Gon (B/L/-)

In the late afternoon, between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., your guide will pick you up for a visit to Marble Mountain, a collection of five marble and limestone hills that symbolize the five elements of Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. Each mountain contains hidden caves, ancient temples, and pagodas, offering a peaceful and mystical experience. 

Then, you'll visit Tam Thai and Linh Ung Pagodas and admire the intricate stone sculptures crafted by local artisans in Non Nuoc Village at the foot of the mountain.

From there, you'll continue to Hoi An, one of Vietnam's most beloved towns. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for its well-preserved ancient architecture and colorful lanterns that light up the town at night. Your evening in Hoi An begins with a delicious dinner featuring local dishes like Cao Lau and Hoanh Thanh, offering a true taste of the town's culinary delights.

After dinner, you'll explore the charming streets of Hoi An, where lanterns are strung across the town, creating a magical atmosphere. Walk along the Hoai River and visit the iconic Japanese Bridge, a symbol of the town's rich history. The colorful lanterns reflecting off the water create a serene and peaceful scene, perfect for a leisurely evening stroll. By 09:00 p.m., you'll return to your hotel, bringing your magical day in Hoi An to a close.
We will transfer to Da Nang International Airport to take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City, ready for our next journey.

Day 09: Sai Gon City Tour Cu Chi Tunnels Group Tour (B/L/-)

In the last section of this journey, you'll arrive at Ho Chi Minh City, the "Pearl of the Far East." With over 300 years of history, this dynamic city blends traditional Vietnamese values with French colonial and Western influences. As a major hub for trade, industry, and culture, it's one of Vietnam's most exciting destinations.

Your exploration begins with a city tour that takes you to some of Ho Chi Minh City's most famous landmarks. In the morning, visit the Independence Palace, a historic symbol of the Vietnam War's end, and step back into 1975, when Saigon fell. Next, admire the stunning
Notre Dame Cathedral, a French colonial gem, and visit the Central Post Office, designed by the renowned architect Gustave Eiffel. 

Continue to the War Remnants Museum, where you'll gain powerful insights into the Vietnam War. Exhibits offer a sobering view of the war's impact, told through the eyes of those who lived it. Before concluding your morning tour, you'll visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda, an intricately carved temple known for its tranquil atmosphere.

In the afternoon, journey to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an hour and a half outside the city. This vast underground network, used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War, offers a unique look into the strategies and resilience of the Vietnamese people. Crawl through the tunnels and experience the conditions faced by soldiers during the war, gaining a new appreciation for their ingenuity and determination.

Along the way, visit a local association that crafts beautiful lacquer paintings made by individuals with disabilities. For an adrenaline rush, you can even fire an M-16, AK-47, or carbine rifle at the National Defense Sports Shooting Range (at your own expense). The Cu Chi Tunnels tour is a fascinating mix of history, culture, and hands-on experience that will leave a lasting impression.

Day 10: Sai Gon Mekong Delta (My Tho) Group Tour (B/L/-)

Embark on a serene journey to the Mekong Delta, often referred to as the "rice bowl" of Vietnam. At 7:30 a.m., an air-conditioned van will pick you up for the drive south to Tien Giang Province

After about an hour and a half, you'll reach Vinh Trang Pagoda, the largest and most beautiful pagoda in Tien Giang. Spread over 2,000 square meters, this 19th-century Buddhist temple is a sight to behold with its grand architecture and peaceful gardens.

Next, you'll arrive in My Tho, where you'll board a boat for a scenic cruise to the Unicorn and Phoenix Islands. As you drift along the Mekong River, you'll visit a coconut candy factory to see the traditional process of making this sweet treat. 

Then, stop at a local honey farm, where you'll sip honey tea and honey wine, all while mingling with friendly locals. Traditional Vietnamese music will accompany your visit, providing a rich cultural experience.
As the tour concludes, you'll return to your hotel or residence, carrying with you the warmth and beauty of the Mekong Delta's rural life and its welcoming people.
 

Day 11: Sai Gon Departure (B/-/-)

On your final day, it's time to bid farewell to Vietnam. After breakfast, head to the airport for your flight home. As you depart, take with you the unforgettable memories of Ho Chi Minh City's vibrant culture, the serene beauty of the Mekong Delta, and the rich history that made this journey so special.
