Day 1: Saigon Arrival (-/-/-)

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, the vibrant “Indochina Pearl” of Vietnam! When you arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, our friendly guide and private driver will greet you warmly. A short drive will take you into the heart of this dynamic city, where modern skyscrapers meet historic charm. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to relax and soak in the vibrant energy of Saigon at your own pace.

Day 2: Saigon City Tour & Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L/-)

Your day begins in the vibrant heart of Ho Chi Minh City, often referred to as the "Pearl of the Far East" for its rich blend of history, culture, and modernity. The city’s fascinating history spans over 300 years, and its unique culture is a tapestry woven from traditional Vietnamese values with influences from the West and North. 

As a hub of trade, industry, and culture, Ho Chi Minh City stands as one of Vietnam’s top destinations, offering visitors a look into its dynamic past and present.

Start your morning by exploring the city’s most iconic landmarks. Visit the Independence Palace, where history was made during the fall of Saigon. Marvel at the French-colonial beauty of Notre Dame Cathedral and the elegant Saigon Central Post Office

Next, take a moving journey through the War Remnants Museum, a powerful tribute to Vietnam’s wartime history. To round off the morning, immerse yourself in the spiritual ambiance of the Jade Emperor Pagoda, a stunning temple rich with cultural significance.

In the afternoon, you’ll set off for the Cu Chi Tunnels, about an hour and a half drive away. Step back in time as you explore this remarkable underground network used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War

When you walk through these well-preserved tunnels, you’ll be struck by the incredible resilience and ingenuity of the people who lived and fought there. 

Before returning, enjoy a stop at a local workshop where disabled artisans create intricate lacquer paintings - each piece a testament to Vietnamese craftsmanship and spirit. For an extra thrill, visit the National Defense Sports Shooting Range, where you can try firing authentic wartime rifles like the M-16 or AK-47 (optional and at your own expense).

Day 3: Saigon Mekong Ben Tre Mekong Rustic Stay Boat for the floating market Cai Rang (B/L/D)

Begin your journey to the heart of the Mekong Delta, where life moves at a slower, more peaceful pace. You’ll arrive at Can Tho, check-in, and take a break at 12:30 PM to enjoy a delicious lunch with the fresh, bold flavors of the region.

In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing bicycle ride through the peaceful countryside. Your first stop is at a family-run blacksmith’s workshop. This local family has been honing their craft for over 50 years, producing thousands of incredible forged knives. Take the opportunity to meet the locals, hear their stories, and learn about their traditional techniques.

When you keep cycling through this rural landscape, you’ll come across more local activities, where the rhythm of daily life in the Mekong Delta unfolds before your eyes. Engage in conversations with the friendly locals, who are eager to share their rich culture and way of life.

Your next stop is at a traditional Vietnamese house, where three generations of a family live under one roof. In this warm and welcoming home, you’ll learn how to make a special banana cake - a local dish known for its unique taste and preparation. 

As the sun dips low over the Delta, you’ll return to the Mekong Rustic Can Tho for a relaxing evening. Enjoy a dinner of local specialties before settling in for a peaceful night in the countryside.

Day 4: Bicycle & Visit Mekong Rustic garden Saigon (-/-/-)

Your trip on day 4 starts at 6:00 AM with an exciting boat trip to Cai Rang floating market, the largest wholesale market for tropical fruits in the Mekong Delta

You will have a chance to see the vibrant scene when farmers bring their fresh produce straight from their gardens to sell on the water. You can chat with the friendly vendors right from their boats and learn about their unique way of life.

After the market, visit a local family who has been making traditional noodles by hand for three generations. You'll get hands-on experience when learning about the process of making "hủ tiếu" noodles, giving you a look into their rich culinary heritage.

Day 5: Saigon Depature (B/-/-)

After checking out of your hotel, enjoy some final moments in the vibrant city of Saigon before your driver arrives to take you to Tan Son Nhat International Airport. As you prepare to depart, reflect on the incredible experiences and lasting memories from your Vietnam adventure. Safe travels, and we look forward to welcoming you back one day!

REMARKS: 
Visa into Vietnam available upon arrival at the airport with prior arrangement for authorization letter. 
In general most places are closed in Vietnam throughout the period of the Lunar New Year.

Passport, change of clothes, sun-glasses & hat, toiletries, sun-block, insect repellent, flashlights, personal first aid kit & medicines, small VND notes for buying drinks. If you feel the need then cable lock for your bags is recommended

* 20% of the tour fare 14 days to 8 days prior to the starting date other tour
