Cu Chi Tunnels is an amazing system spanning more than 200 km underground and consisting of numerous narrow tunnels. It features offices, warehouses, command centers, hospitals, conference rooms, and kitchens.

The system played an important role in Vietnam's history. Since it was recognized as a "Free Target Zone" during the anti-America war, communist soldiers built the Tunnels within 25 years as a place for hiding and living. You’ll have a chance to crawl through the narrow corridors and listen to the nation’s glorious history and victory.

The afternoon itinerary will be around the city’s historical and cultural landmarks. One of the remarkable destinations is the War Remnant Museum. It’s quite terrifying since it displays different torture techniques, but it’s worth visiting the place to understand the locals’ patriotic spirit and braveness.

We’ll also visit the Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Old Post Office. You’ll see how French architectural design affected these properties, creating highlighted spots for this Southeast Asian city

Day 3: Saigon Mekong (Ben Tre Can Tho) (B/L/D)

Get ready for a new exploration day! We’ll go by bus to My Tho Boat Station and embark on a boat along the Mekong River for a unique water excursion.

As we cruise through the water, you can feel the scents, colors, and sounds of the lively river life. You’ll see how people live and do business on this Mekong Delta maze by visiting the local fish-floating market.

The boat will drop you at the islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix, where you can explore various traditional crafts, taste fine food, and enjoy captivating cultural performances.

We’ll first arrive on Unicorn Island and visit a bee farm. Farmers will explain the bee-keeping process and offer you fresh honey tea.

Are you craving some sweets? It’s time to try some! Ben Tre is also famous for its coconuts, which are used to produce many products, from food to utensils. So, our next unskippable destination is a coconut candy workshop. By joining the workshop, you can see how locals produce the candy and taste this delicacy.

Next, we’ll visit a tropical fruit orchard and experience fresh seasonal fruits. Some of them, such as the infamous durians, are exotic. Stock up on some, and you’ll never forget your trip to this fruit island.

Then, we’ll move to a local restaurant for lunch. After that, we’ll row back to My Tho boat station and take the bus back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 4: Can Tho Cai Rang Floating Market Saigon (B/L/-)

Our destination of the day is Cai Rang Floating Market, one of the largest floating markets and one of the oldest cultural spots in the Mekong Delta. This complicated water traffic network is home to many locals living and doing business on the water.

While cruising along the waterways, you can also capture the beautiful river bank views and green scenery around.

Next, we’ll visit a local fruit orchard. Farmers will explain their farming practices for growing tasty tropical fruits. Don’t hesitate to savor a bite of every fruit. You’ll definitely love it!

After that, the traditional handicraft workshops are waiting for you. You’ll observe the process of making conventional rice noodles from start to end. Then, you’ll see the production of coconut candy and can taste the pleasantly sweet flavor of it.

At the end, our tour guide will lead you to a local restaurant for a local specialties gastronomic party. Then, you’ll return to Ho Chi Minh
